The spot
About La Piste
La Piste in Capbreton is the historic spot of the coast. Located north of the Capbreton jetty, it benefits from sandy bottoms held in place by the breakwater, producing consistent, often barrelling waves when the swell is clean. A legendary spot in French surfing, intermediate to expert level. Best surfed from low to mid-incoming tide.
